Validation

19/11/2009

This film will obviously make you smile.

A cheerful parking attendant considers it his job to do more than validate parking. He wants to validate the customers themselves, delivering compliments about their appearances and the inner qualities behind them. Everyone who comes up to him with a ticket walks away validated as a worthwhile human being. Soon, the parking attendant becomes so popular that people line up for validation. He appears on news broadcasts and even ends up validating George W. Bush and Saddam Hussein. His life hits a roadblock when he goes to the DMV to get his driver’s license photo taken and is met with a beautiful photographer whom he can’t get to smile. Written by J. Spurlin

The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon

28/08/2009

From Richard Gale, mad maker of CRITICIZED, comes a film that will never have you looking at cutlery the same way again. Set-up as an epic-length trailer for an upcoming release, HORRIBLY SLOW… depicts a man’s endless pursuit by what has got to be one of the most determined and patient murderers the screen has ever seen. Screamingly funny stuff, this is the rare case where the shine of an inspired over-the-top title is actually matched by the genius of the film itself. Stars Paul Clemens, who many of you will remember from 1982’s THE BEAST WITHIN. Someone, get Gale funding for his feature. Now. [D-Man2010]

The Hunt for Gollum

26/08/2009

About
The Hunt For Gollum is an unofficial not for profit short film by a group of enthusiast filmmakers. As a Lord of the Rings Fan Film, we are not affiliated with the Tolkien Estate or New Line Cinema and are producing this project as an entirely non commercial film. As with other fan films we are making this purely for the enjoyment of the material and the experience of making a high quality low budget film.

I have not seen the movie yet, but for a kinda of amateur film is very good. The sound effects are very good. The only thing is missing is a good post production. A must see!

Note: choose HD definition. That will allow Portuguese subtitles (and maybe others..)
