Add keyword for this search
29/04/2009Firefox has some functionalities that some of us simple ignore or don’t know that they exist!
One of them is “Add keyword for this search”. How does this works:

Instructions
#1 Just pick a search box of any site. Use left mouse’s left button and hit “Add keyword for this search”
#2 Add name and keyword
#3 Use it. Go to url address bar and type your ‘keyword’ followed by the content that you wish to search and press enter.
#4 Done! You’ll be redirected to the search page, which the input you selected at #3.
You don’t need to be at the present site to preform step #3.
#Edit: Note: “Add keyword for this search” will only work on sites/search box, where the input text goes to url, example, your search for “peanuts” and the url of search page goes “www.example.com/bla=peanuts“, not in pages where the url stays: “www.example.com/default.aspx”. Something like that…
